Car Alarms: disarm or reprogram, viper alarm, geo tracker

I have a 1991 GEO Tracker. I bought it with a  viper alarm already installed.It is set so it automaticly turns on when I shut off the key. I would like to know if it can be set so it does not do so, or how to unhook it.

I do not know much about Viper settings,
but to get out of passive arming, you
will need to get the infor specific
to the system you have.

what you need.
