I have installed severall remote starters but wonder if there are any special cases for the Mazda 626 LX I should be aware of. i.e. Alarm bypass, Key Transponder,
Is this car actually equipped for a remote starter?

Not too bad. Yes it does have a transponder to bypass.
No factory alarm to worry about.
