Car Alarms: Commando Pro-start, chevy pickup, start model

Question
I have installed a Commando Pro-Start Model 2300 on a 1998 Chevy pickup and it will crank but soon as it starts it dies. and I also can not  get the tach learning to work right.  Hope you can help.

This truck has the PASSLOCK II Vatts module
in it and needs to be bypassed to remote start.
No way to skip this.

and you will also see the wiring data for
the truck, with tach wire on that
site of mine as well.

As far as tach learning goes, it first must
be started to do that. You need the bypass
module installed first before trying tach learning.
For more on that system, try contacting the
folks at Commando for more input.
