Car Stereos: headphone jack on tractor radio, headphone output, headphone jack

Hi ; Thanks for the quick reply on the question today . The radio is after market Dual DB 1200 AM/FM/CD player . With the tractor on it's hard to hear and I would like headphones . Again Thanks Dan

Hi Dan,

There are devices you can buy that will convert the speaker out lead into a headphone output.

You'd need something like that since the impedance on car speakers are about 4ohms, and headphones impedance vary wildly, but usually start at about 30ohms and go up into the thousands.
