i am tryin to hook up a 12" sub and a 1000 watt amp but dont want to take out my stock radio how would i hook up the audio wires to the head unit

Hi Ethan,

To do that, you'll need to invest in a line-out converter.  This converter will tap into your rear speaker wires, and provide you with the remote wire you need to tell the amplifier to turn on.

Then you buy a regular standard amplifier installation kit, and you're good to go.
