Car Stereos: Aftermarket Stereo in 2004 GMC w/ Bose System, gmc serria, gm factory

I have a 2004 GMC serria truck with a bose audio system, i also, have on-star but i dont use it. I want to replace my factory radio with an aftermarket radio, due to it cutting out all the time when i play a cd.Can you tell me what wiring harness i need for this set-up. I belive my truck harness is a 24pin harness.

Hi Geoffrey,

Even though you don't use the OnStar, you still need the harness to retain onstar, as there's more wiring in there that wouldn't hook up correctly without a harness that supports it.
