Car Stereos: R A P relay 02 buick century, fm modulator, gm vehicles

Hi I'm hooking up and fm modulator and need to know where to obtain power that will work with my 2002 buick century radio r.a.p. feature thanks in advance for any help

Hi Guy,

If I were installing an FM modulator in this vehicle, I'd probably tap the accessory power wire in the factory radio plug.  Unlike some GM vehicles made around this time, the Century has a yellow wire in the radio harness that works with the retained accessory power feature.  Given that you'll probably be behind the head unit to connect the FM modulator to the antenna plugs in any case, you can just connect to the accessory power wire at the same time.
