Car Stereos: Hooking up an input for MP3 player, elantra gt, peripheral electronics

I'm looking to add a jack to connect an mp3 player. The head unit is a Kenwood KDC - MPV622H3 In a '04 Elantra GT. What I'm not sure of is whether there are auxiliary inputs that can be used or if I'll need to get an add-in harness. Any help here would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Your Kenwood head unit requires an additional accessory to enable the auxiliary input mode.  Kenwood's model number is CA-C1AUX.  It connects to the CD changer port on the back of the deck.  Peripheral Electronics makes a similar adapter for Kenwood decks; the model number is PXRKEN.
