is the pioneer DEH-P4100UB compatiable with a 2005 nissan sentra

Hi Joe,

The DEH-P4100UB should work fine in a Sentra, if you use the correct adapter parts.  You'll need a wire harness and a mounting kit.  The Metra part numbers are 70-7550 for the wire harness, and 99-7414 for the kit.

The new head unit will be mounted using the factory radio brackets; the mounting kit is just cosmetic, to fill the opening left in the dash by the factory radio removal.  You might want to look for a Scosche kit instead of the Metra; the Metra kit is just black plastic, but Scosche makes three different kits in factory-matched colors.  The Scosche model number is NN1495MTB, NN1495SDB, or NN1495STB depending on the color.
