Car Stereos: 1996 Ford Explorer, rear speakers, signal wires

I have a 1996 ford explorer and it has a 6 disc changer in it. i was wondering how i can  hook up subs and amp to it if all the wiring is going to the back for the 6 disc changer?

All of the wiring is not going to the 6 disc changer. Only wires used to communicate with the changer.  None of those are needed to power an amp or subs.  You normally splice from your rear speakers for signal wires.  Then, use available constant and switched power wires to power the amp, and attach a ground wire to the nearest piece of metal.  Hope this helps, Scott
