just a quick question can the lanzar se15 be ran free air right now i have 3 lanzar 12s with front kick panels with rainbow 6.5 but they are open air oa12s

Hi Jeff,

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find an online copy of an owner's manual for the SE15 subwoofer, nor do I have any personal experience with it.  However, the little information I could find on Lanzar's web site indicates that this sub is definitely meant to be used with an enclosure.  I wouldn't try using it in a free air system; a subwoofer that's used without the proper enclosure can easily be damaged from over-excursion, if it gets too much power or too deep a bass note.

For more information about the proper enclosure design for the SE15, your best bet is probably to contact Lanzar directly.
