Car Stereos: speaker removal, ford f150 crew cab, assembly tutorial

i have a 2005 ford f150 crew cab. i need to replace the front speakers and need to know how to get to the speaker to remove it.
can i do this without removing the door panels? or does the speaker grill pop out? i haven't found a clear cut answer.

I apologize for the extremely long delay in answering your question.

Oddly enough, I haven't been called upon to change the speakers in one of the newer F-series trucks, so I can't answer your question from memory.  (The fact that no one's paid me to install new door speakers suggests that it might be a pretty easy do-it-yourself task).  

I did find a door dis-assembly tutorial from a company that sells replacement side-mirrors.  According to this, the speaker grill cover and speaker can be removed without taking off the door panel.  Here's a link:
