What color is the remote wire on a 08 dodge durango..I'm installing a amp my stock cd deck.

Hi,

An 08 Dodge Durango does not have a true remote wire for an after-market amplifier.  If it's equipped with an Infinity sound system, then the factory amplifier is activated through computer data commands, not through a switched power wire.  A Durango without the Infinity system also has no switched power source in the radio harness that can be used to activate an after-market amplifier--the radio itself is controlled through a data signal.

My advice is to connect your amp's remote wire to a source wire at the DC power outlet (ie, cigarette lighter socket).  Usually one or both of the DC sockets in a newer Dodge will use a key-switched power source, which means they'll come on with the key and stay on until the key is turned off and the door is opened--very similar to the factory radio.
