AnswerHi Stephane,
There are two options for adding an auxiliary input function to your Kenwood head unit:
First, you can use a Kenwood CA-C1AUX adapter. This is the less expensive option; it will convert the CD changer port on the back of the head unit to a set of auxiliary input RCA plugs. This will let you connect any device with a headphone jack and play it through the audio system.
Another option is a KCA-S220A external media switchbox. Like the CA-C1AUX, this gives you an auxiliary input, but the KCA-S220A will allow you to keep your external CD changer working as well.
I like the Pioneer head unit, but I haven't seen the Clarion deck, so I can't really give you a recommendation between the two.
Hope this helps!
Brian
