Car Stereos: radio quit working, 2002 saturn sc2, saturn sc2

i have  a 2002 saturn sc2 a lady ran into the back of it when i was sitting at a red light there was no damage to either car but the lights on my radio quit working.then about a week later the radio quit working.when i started the car it was working then a quick pop then no radio. almost like the battery cable came off i need to reset the time and stations.when you first start the car it sounds like it wants to come on and then just goes blank.maybe just a bad radio or a deeper problem? thank you

John, Double check all fuses, but my guess is the problem is deeper than that.  The accident may have jarred a connection inside the radio loose.  It now probably has a short in it that will need to be repaired; or the radio replaced.  Hope this helps, Scott
