Car Stereos: CD changer, fm radio band, acura rsx type s

I have a an acura RSX type S 2005. My CD changer doesn't work. The AM/FM radio band works fine, but when I insert an CD it show -ERR- on the screen display? Does the CD changer have a separate code from the radio itself?

Hi Alex,

Unfortunately, problems with OEM head units are generally outside my expertise.  I can tell you that the issue isn't being caused by an anti-theft code; it's more likely an internal problem in the CD changer.  You can try resetting the system by disconnecting your vehicle's negative better terminal for a few minutes; sometimes this can get a CD changer working again, but it's a long shot.  Otherwise, I'm afraid your CD changer will need to be serviced.
