Car Stereos: Amp Install, mach 460 sound system, sony head unit

I have a 02 mustang with the mach 460 sound system and a sony xplod head unit. I have the mach 460 amps hooked up to the head unit and I am trying to hook up a kicker amp for some other subs I bought. I am having trouble trying to find where I need to hook up the amp turn-on lead and amp power lead wires in the back of the radio.

Hi Steve,

The amp's turn-on lead should be connected to the blue/white remote output wire at the back of the Sony head unit; but the amplifier's main power wire needs to be connected directly to the battery.  The ground wire doesn't need to run to the battery; it should be fastened securely to clean chassis metal near the amplifier's mounting location.
