I have a 94 geo metro. The Radio works great except when I put a tape in.....high pitch noise and tape ejects. Please help!

Your tape player probably has some tape from a jammed tape in its gears, and they cannot turn freely.  The only way to fix that problem is to take apart the radio and remove the jammed tape.  It would be a good idea to clean the head and demagnetize at the same time.  The cost for repairs may be as much as buying a new unit, so you might want to compare before getting it repaired.  Hope this helps, Scott
