Car Stereos: Car stereo not loading disc, loading disc, loading mechanism

I have a nextar 990c and anytime lately i try to get a cd to go in the stereo will not take it if i slowly push it in it stops half way and saids error 1 is there a problem with my stereo or is there something i can fix with it

Hi Trevor,

Sorry for the slow response.  Unfortunately, your stereo will need to be serviced.  I don't know of any wiring issue that could cause this problem, or any easy fix; something in your deck's loading mechanism is mis-aligned or broken.  I'm afraid you'll need to take it to a repair shop, or buy a new one.
