Car Stereos: memory, alpine head unit, inch subs

i have a alpine head unit in my s10 and the yellow and red wire are connected but the radio won't save the stations or turn its self on.. i have tried to re wire in but it could be the 3000 watt amp and 2 12 inch subs might have messed somethin up

Nick, is the red wire connected to a switched wire and the yellow connected to a constant power wire?  If so, your headunit has a short in it, and needs to be repaired.  If they are not connected as mentioned ablve, then you need to hook them up properly.  Hope this helps, Scott
