I have a kenwood detatchable stereo its new i just recently installed it a month ago it work fine till now. WHEN I CONNECT MY FACE IT DONT LIGHT UP EVERYTHING IS BLACK I CANT SEE THE MENU.SOMETIMES I OPEN IT UP CLOSE IT A FEW TIMES THEN IT STARTS TO WORK.PLEASE HELP ME..

The Kenwood detachable faces are kind of fragile, and they have a tendency to have bad connections.  Be sure and press the faceplate on snugly.  If it still doesn't work, you may need to pry on the brass connectors a bit to get them to make better connections.  I would suggest not removing the faceplate regularly.  Each time it is removed and replaced, it wears a little more.  Hope this helps, Scott
