Car Stereos: CD Player for 04 Nissan Maxima, 04 nissan maxima, bose model

I currently have the single oem cd and would like to replace the entire unit for one that works better. Can you sub this with a 6 cd player with bose? The cd player is not working and the casing is pretty scratched.

If you can find a non-Bose 6-cd changer for this vehicle, it will work; I don't know if any are available for the Maxima, however.  You can't replace your head unit with a Bose model because the Bose system also includes separate amplifiers and different speakers.  A Bose head unit wouldn't be compatible with the non-Bose speaker system in your car.
