Car Stereos: add a amp to stock deck, chevy silverado, rca outputs

I have a 05 Chevy silverado with a bose system. Is there a way to add a amp to the factory deck?

Hi Grey,

Certainly, you can add an amplifier to the factory deck in this truck.  The easiest way is to use a device made by Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC).  The device model number is AOEM-GM24.  It's installed behind the factory head unit, and will give you low-level RCA outputs and a remote turn-on voltage for the after-market amplifier.  

The AOEM-GM24 is available through several online retailers for around $50.
