Car Stereos: 04 Impala CD Player, stereo fuse, fuse panel

Help! A CD is stuck in my player and will not eject.  I tried the eject button, powering off the radio, switching from radio to cd.  Nothing works. In fact it won't even respond now when you push the CD button. What should I do?

Hi Rae,

Pull the stereo fuse from the fuse panel, wait 15 minutes, and put it back.  That might reset the unit and cause it to eject again.

If not, you might have to pull it apart to get your CD back.  If you do, replace it, don't run the risk of losing it again.
