Car Stereos: Pioneer head unit in a 2008 subaru impreza, pioneer unit, pioneer head unit

I was looking to purchase the pioneer avic-f900bt navigation head unit for my 2008 subaru impreza. I know most websites say this unit isn't made for my type of car. But I was wondering if I can fit it.

Hi Chris,

Metra Electronics makes a double-DIN mounting kit for your vehicle that should work perfectly with the AVIC-F900BT.  The model number of the kit is 95-8902.  You'll also need the 40-SB10 antenna adapter and the 70-8901 wire harness.  Using these parts, you shouldn't have any problem installing the Pioneer unit into your Impreza.
