What is the cause of a Check Disc error (all six positions) and a failure of any installed disc to read?

Hi Ed,

It could be something as simple as a system reset being needed.  Disconnect power from the unit for 20 minutes and reconnect it.  If it continues, try a cd lens cleaner, as the issue could be a dirty lens.

If that doesn't do it, it's probably going to require replacement.
