Car Stereos: factory amplifier location, premium sound system, boss system

QUESTION: Where is the factory amplifier located in a 2006 Lincoln navigator, with no navigation. and can it be replaced with a more powerful amplifier. if so what would you recommend..

-On some they are located inside the rear side panel where the subwoofer its located, it should be mounted on the speaker itself or right next to it.

-Yes you can replace it for an aftermarket, but if you do this you might have to change the sub and/or speakers.

-Probably a 5 channel amplifier (if you want to get just 1 amp) that'll power all 4 door speakers and 1 sub, or a 4 channel  and a monoblock. it just depends how you like to listen to the radio.
