Car Stereos: Land Rover Discovery DVD, land rover discovery, 2004 land rover discovery

I just bought a 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE7.  I have the factory head unit, factory installed 6-disc cd changer, and a factory installed dvd player.  When test driving the car, I was able to play a dvd and listen to the movie on all the car speakers.  After I bought the car, I am now unable to figure out how I got it to work in the first place.  I have tried to scan through all the FM channels, but no luck.  The channels start at 87.9 and end at 107.9.  Any advice as to how I can get the dvd audio to play on all the car speakers?  Thanks!

Fm frequency on the dvd player's Fm modulator would be a good place to start looking, check if its on, and what station is set on, if its on, and you still cant get any audio, it might be a problem with the modulator, take the car back and have it checked, it should be under warranty if you bought from a dealership.
