NASCAR Racing: Richard Petty, race nascar, coca cola 600

What year did Richard Petty borrow a No. 6 car to race?  I believe he wrecked his car and was not allowed to use a backup.  It was green in color and they added STP decals.  Thank you for your help.

1986. At the Charlotte Coca-Cola 600 RP had wrecked his familiar red and blue #43 in practice 2 days before the race. NASCAR had started a new "no back-up car" rule and his car was too wrecked to be repaired (RP had also been sent to the hospital for an overnight stay with a concussion and badly bruised leg). DK Ulrich rented him his lime green and white #6 Monte Carlo, which was then decked out with STP decals. A blown engine on lap 123 put him out of the race with a 37th place finish.
