NASCAR Racing: Dale Earnharts car?, dale earnhart, lowes foods

Do you know if Dale ever drove a Pontiac with a green with white color scheme for "Lowes Foods"?  I've seen a car like that with the No. 3 on the side and his signature on the door.  Some friends of mine are die-hard Earnhardt fans and swear he would never have driven a Pontiac.  Did he ever participate in the Busch series?  Your knowledge would be much appreciated.    Sincerely,   David Kellis

Dale NEVER drove a car of that description in WC.

I don't profess to be an expert on BGN but DE did drive BGN for many years. I don't recall him ever driving a Pontiac in BGN or ever recall a green and white car. Matter of fact, I've never heard of Lowes Foods either. All the years he drove a #3 in BGN it was a RCR car and was always the same make as the WC car. Besides, I seem to recall DE had the "No green race car" superstition like many of the older drivers.
