BMW Repair: oil change indicator, diagnostic connector, indicator lamp

Question
I recently had the oil changed in my 1989 325i and they (jiffy lube) could not reset the oil change indicator lamp.I was out of town so I did not use my regular shop. Is there something I can do to reset it or do I need to take it in.
The guys at the Jiffy Lube were very young and I believe not sure of what they were doing. I do not think the car has any issues.

There is a special tool i use to reset that light. But there is a way to get it done manually, I've been sick a few days so when i get into the shop in the morning i will explain how to reset it from your 20 pin diagnostic connector under the hood.    Thanks nathan
