I have a problem with the outside temp reading, my display shows -40c constant any ideas?

Answer
Senan, Replace the sensor in the lower bumper corner support. The wiring may have been damaged aswell. Go to the local BMW parts counter for related parts. The air conditioning compressor will not operate with an outside temp. reading of -40 degrees on certain models.
