BMW Repair: right turn signal, flat screwdriver, signal light

Question
I own a 2000 323i & the check control graphic display comes on & off displaying thr right top turn signal.
As it does it blinks faster than normal & the signal does
not work. after a few minutes it comes back to normal.
What could it be.

Hi Alfredo Garza,
There is a bad bulb/bulb socket contact at your right front
signal light.
Remove the signal light assembly by either  of 2 methods: a) pressing down with a suitable flat screwdriver on the locking tab  visible thru the hole behind the lamp assy. on the right side of the engine compartment, then pull the lamp assy. forward.
b) or, if there is a screw instead of a tab, loosen it a bit but do not remove it, then pull out the lamp assy.
Usually, both bulb and socket have to be replaced.
