BMW Repair: speetdoreading, rear wheels, speed sensor

My e30 speedometer is no longer reading. What can I do?

 Well there are two possibilites.  On the back of the differential (between the rear wheels) there is a speed sensor.  This is likely your problem.

 Also the guage its self might be disconnected, or broken, so I would pull the cluster and check it was well.
