BMW Repair: cupholder, series bmws, dumb question

I know this is a dumb question but nonetheless here goes.  I need to replace the flimsey cupholder in my 2003 530i.   How is this done?

 It's not a dumb question, but unfortunately I only deal with the older 3-series bmws, and I have little or no experience with the 5 series.

 The cupholder should be simple though...

 Try www.bimmerforums.com, or www.roadfly.com and look for a 5-series forum to ask someone in there.
