BMW Repair: warning lights language conversion, language conversion, warning lights

I am in the Air Force stationed in Germany and I own a European spec 1991 735i. All the error codes are in German. I hear there's a way to change them to English but no one seems to know how and I can't find any information on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The only thing that I can think of Roy is if you can't reset the computerand change the language to english then is to replace the computer with a regular english one.  Sorry I can't be of better help then that.  Try calling a bmw delearship somewhere in the states and try asking one of them.
