What should the Compression be on a $7500 rebuild by a reputable shop with schrick 292 cam

Damn thats a lot of money to pay without having discussed this.
The cam has nothing to do with compression,  what does is stroke, piston type, deck height, and rings; mainly stroke.

At least thats what my master certified hot rod university instructor at universal technical institute has to say.

The most I could justify paying for a well rebuilt engine for this car is somewhere around $3000-$4000 tops unless your building a race engine by a well known rebuilder.  to get more info on how you were ripped off visit some message boards like
