BMW Repair: starting, mechanic, cheers

bought a 1995 525i 1 month ago .run  great, but this morning would not stay started.ran very rough,kept cutting off.got plenty of gas

I have no idea.
your car has about 50 devices and 5 computers that are dedicated to warming up the car and another 1000 components that would cause the engine to stumble should they be defective or damaged.
open the hood and let me know what you find, otherwise just go to a mechanic, i can't help you with no info.
