BMW Repair: 318i will crank but not start., fuel delivery system, vapor lock

1995, 318i will crank but not start. after sitting for 8-12 hours it starts just fine and runs without problems. what's up?

Find out if it is spark or fuel induced.  If it's a problem with the ignition i would start with coil and trace wires back to the fusebox till the voltage drop is found.  This model car has a on board diagnostics so you could pull the codes.
it could also be vapor lock or a problem with the fuel delivery system.
