GMC Repair: 2001 Pontiac Bonneville Issues, pontiac bonneville, coolant temp

Question
When I accelerate I notice a whining noise from the front left end of the vehicle. I also feel and hear a slight dragging noise in one of the tires. My engine temp needle is 1 notch above the middle mark and I have put coolant in the vehicle. And the a/c sounds like a motor is running when placed on "High" I just got the car on Saturday 7/10/2010. What could cause these issues

depending on the outside temerature  i would not worry too much about the coolant temp being 1 mark over, as for the whinning noise could be a leak in the power steering or a bad hub and bearing.  The noise you hear is from the blower motor its either bad or has debris in it
