GMC Repair: Engine belts for 2003 GMC Yukon, gmc yukon, 2003 gmc yukon

Question
How many belts does the 2003 5.4 GMC Yukon engine have?
The service rep at the dealer said that I needed to have the AC belt & Tensioner replaced.  She said that only the AC belt needed to be replaced.  I thought it used only 1 serpentine belt for all -- fan, alternator & fan.

there is a primary serpentine belt which runs the alternator, power steering and water pump, and a secondary which runs only the A/C compressor.  It is not uncommon to see worn secondary belt and tensioner, however it is a good idea to replace both belts, as you have to remove the primary to access the secondary belt
