GMC Repair: Gas Gauge, gas gauge, power locks

i have purchase an 1986 GMC Shortbed and the gas gauged is stuck on full at all times, any ideas? also the switch does not work for the power locks and the brights dont seem to turn on when you flip the switch...thank you with any help possible

It sounds like you need a gae for the fuel tank/ Sounds like the switch in the door thats bad they ae usually like5-10 bucks for that. And the switch for the brights there is actually a rod in the steering column that is bent that needs to be straightened  Good luck Andrew
