GMC Repair: GMC Yukon 2004 ignition, gmc yukon, new keys

Question
I can not turn my ignition to start my yukon.  My steering wheel is not locked.  i can turn it either way.  I tried new keys from the dealership.  It still giving me the same problem.  Now its been parked in yard for 3 days and it wont turn at all.  i have an appointment tomorrow to get it checked.  Please help me.  Thanks

Most likely it'll need an igintion lock.
It is not really a job for a do it yourselfer. I JUST finished one yesterday actually on a 2004 and it was diffucult. You'll need a new key lock, key lock housing and possibally a new Park Lock cable assembly.
