QuestionHi Pete!
Battery cables are tight.
I opened the trunk...big mistake...I tried to use the keyless entry button, and when it didn't open, I opened the trunk using the key. Duh...now it wont close, because the electrical system is not operating!!!!!!!!!!
So I have looked through my owner's manual, and so far haven't found any clue.
Can something simple be causing the electrical system to "shut down" ?

My STS won't start...it worked fine, I washed it and parked it for about 1/2 hr, then went to leave again, and nothing.
The battery is fine, all fuses are fine, belt is intact. There is a very low "ding" when the doors are open, and a very faint light in the glove box.
Other than that, NOTHING...it's as if there is something is not making a connection.
I let it set overnight, hoping that something happened when I washed it that needed time to dry out, but still, NOTHING.
