GMC Repair: abs light, accident occured, liability risks

my brakes give away one day on the way home .they went to the floor  so i drove  slow on home. when i got there i checked the  brake fliud it was pretty low so i filled it up. i have brakes but my abs light will not go out i unhooked my battery  and waited a  few miuntes then  hooked the battery  back up and the light  is still on   , i have replaced my 2 back wheel cyclindes and new brakes  and had my drums turned .and the light is still on .could it be my front brakes they make  noise sometimes when i stop?can you help?my van is 1993 safari gmc mini van
