GMC Repair: ignition switch, gmc sonoma, screw driver

1995 gmc sonoma.  mechanic at wits end as to how to remove sw w/o damaging air bag.  can't find how to remove/release bag.  help!

Answer
The Air bag system is more coplecated than to be done at home. First you have to remove the the s-weel-nick cover, then you need "star" screw driver, and a light.
There are 4 screws from the back side of the s-weel, you cannot see them, but you can feel them.
I recomend to take the car to a specialist...
