Alfa Romeo Repair: NO SPARK 1988 Quad, msd 6a, timing computer

I've got a 1988 quad. spider that sends no spark to the distributor
from the coil.  The coil has power to it, but doesn't send spark. I've
tried a different coil. but have the same problem.   HELP....

Answer
The ignition module (igniter) is not sending a signle to the neg side of the coil.  First unplug and replug all related connections before replacing the ignition module.

If the module is indeed fautly, a reliable and less expencive alternative is the MSD-6A with the MSD timing computer.

However, I have found these modules to be almost bullet proof.
If the connection replugging does not work, ck the pickup in the distributor and the cam signle sensor.
