Alfa Romeo Repair: fuel gauge, quick test, fuel tank

Hi, my fuel gauge always showing empty how easy is this to rectify and how do i do it please.

you did not say which model. It can be a wire between the
sender and gauge... but, usually it is the sender which is
found at the top of the fuel tank.  Then, it can also be
the gauge.  A quick test is to briefly ground the wire
at the sender and see what the gauge does.
