Audio Systems: help please, ford taurus, w center

Question
I just bought a 2002 Ford Taurus and I see that it has a tape player but also near the tape insertion
It has a button that says CD but I can't find wear to put the CDs at cause I can't find the CD player portion of it. It is a wagon.  Please help

Let's see if you even have a changer installed:

With the radio ON, Press the button that says "CD".

If the display shows : "NO DJ" , that means that there is not a cd changer, but the unit is "ready" to accept a cd changer. In other words it is pre-wired to allow for a cd changer to be added, and controlled from the head unit.

If the displays shows : "NO CD" , that means that a 6-disc cd changer is in the vehicle. The Changer will either be in the center console (if the front seats are buckets w/center console) OR the changer is located in the trunk or rear side panels.
