Audio Systems: iPhone, pontiac grand prix auxiliary, grand prix aux input

Hello I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix v6 not supercharge, I am trying to hook up an auxiliary cord from my factory stereo to my iPhone, how do I do that?

You Pontiac grand prix needs to have XM radio, with out xm the auxiliary interface don't work
XM can be out of service but needs to be in the vehicle
